Murfreesboro NAACP Hosts 2026 Spring Retreat

On April 11, the Murfreesboro NAACP branch gathered for its 2026 Spring Retreat. It was a purposeful day dedicated to strengthening our branch and advancing the NAACP's mission across our community.

Our agenda was packed with important discussions. Members covered upcoming branch elections, ensuring our leadership continues to reflect the dedication and vision of our community. We also dove deep into local elections and civic engagement, exploring practical strategies to increase voter participation and community involvement at every level.

A key highlight of the retreat was an in-depth session on how to locate reliable information on local and federal elections, current elected officials, and how to navigate election troubleshooting issues — equipping every member with the tools to be an informed advocate and a resource for others in our community.

We are grateful to everyone who came out and invested their day with us. Your hard work and dedication are the heartbeat of this organization — none of what we do would be possible without you. Keep pushing forward; your commitment truly matters.
